Location

Three Anchors is nestled amongst tall Norfolk Island Pines and sits on the shore of Middleton Beach in Albany, Western Australia. Located approximately 4kms east of the city centre. 

Middleton Beach is considered the heart and soul of Albany, offering locals and tourists a beautiful, safe swimming destination and access to a scenic boardwalk path, the Ellen Cove to Albany Port trail. The boardwalk offers many breathtaking viewing points with picturesque landscapes for the budding and professional photographers throughout each season.

Middleton Beach also provides an easily accessible location for viewing Southern Right and Humpback whales during their annual migration to the Southern Ocean from late May through to October. Whales enter the bay to rest and can sometimes be seen as close as 20–30 metres from the shore or frolicking out in the deeper water. 

With a new playground directly opposite the restaurant, a pontoon in the bay, jetty, bike paths and plenty of space along the coast for the children to explore it is the perfect place for families.
